Christine Putur

Christine is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Staples, responsible for technology strategy and execution globally.  She was appointed to her current position in July 2011. 

Christine joined Staples in 1999, and has since held various leadership roles on the company's e-commerce, technology strategy, program management and US Retail technology teams. Chris also led the information technology global integration efforts following Staples’ acquisition of Corporate Express in 2008.  She most recently served as senior vice president of information systems for the company's North American Delivery businesses and the US Supply Chain.

Prior to coming to Staples, she was at Digital for 15 years and participated in the merger with Compaq. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Science and Math from Colby College and a Master of Science Degree in MIS from Boston University Graduate School of Management.
