Survey shows small business owners’ top priorities for 2013
FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Many small business owners are feeling overworked heading into 2013 with 61 percent wishing they could shed the backroom administrative tasks, according to the 7th Annual National Small Business Survey conducted by Staples Inc., the world’s largest office products company and second largest internet retailer in the world.

About the Survey
For the 7th year, Staples conducted an Internet survey among small-business owners and senior executives. The survey was developed by Staples and conducted by Decision Analyst, Inc. in Arlington, TX. Decision Analyst surveyed by Internet a nationally representative random sample of 500 owners and executives of American businesses having no more than 20 employees. All respondents were members of American Consumer Opinion® online, Decision Analyst’s proprietary Internet-based consumer-opinion panel with over 7,500,000 members globally. Interviews were conducted from November 13 to November 19, 2012. Such a sample has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.3 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.
