FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Staples Inc., (NASDAQ:SPLS), today announced the winners of its Teacher Appreciation Day sweepstakes. The Staples Teacher Appreciation Day program was an opportunity for Staples to reward educators for all their hard work and dedication. Educators were invited to visit their local Staples store or participate online at Staples.com to receive a complimentary gift and enter to win one of $35,000 in prizes. Staples awarded ten grand-prize winners with $500 in cash and $500 in school supplies. One hundred first-prize winners received $250 each in school supplies. “We recognize the valuable work and dedication of our nation’s educators. Our intention with Teacher Appreciation Day is to reward educators for their commitment to education with some of the things they need the most – school supplies,” said Robert Moore, executive vice president of marketing for Staples.
