FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLS) today announced the appointment of Nicholas P. Hotchkin as senior vice president of finance and treasurer, responsible for developing and executing Staples’ financial and risk management strategies. Hotchkin will report to John Mahoney, Staples vice chairman and chief financial officer.
“Nick brings a wide range of experience in treasury and operational finance to Staples, and a proven track record of rapidly increasing responsibility as a senior finance executive,” said Mahoney. “He will be a key member of our finance leadership team.”
Hotchkin previously served as finance director for Delphi Packard Electric Systems, a division of Delphi Corporation, which he joined in 1999. Prior to Delphi, he was the director of worldwide pension funding and analysis for General Motors treasurer’s office. He brings five years of international finance experience, having lived and worked in England, Singapore, Beijing and Paris. A Harvard College graduate, Nick received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
